The Square, Stockley Park, Uxbridge

The project is on the Stockley Park office campus— a three-storey office development with associated hard standing and landscaping.

Before the demolition works began, Tower conducted and supplied to the client a full condition survey of the property and surrounding landscaping and hard standing areas.

Tower was responsible for the disconnection, isolation, draining down and safe removal from site of all the existing mechanical, electrical, roof plant and public health services within the building. We had to exercise extreme caution due to the existence of previously unknown services, supplies and substances hazardous to health.

We undertook the strip-out, working to the specification compiled by GDM Partnership, for GM Real Estates. Tower supplied and installed 110v temporary lighting, with emergency light fittings, throughout the building to provide and maintain a safe working environment throughout the contract period and beyond.

All plant from the substantial plant room was removed via a 120ton mobile crane, and the building was stripped out, including the canteen on the ground floor.

During the project Tower was instructed to carry out numerous core samples, trial holes, opening up works and a full CCTV drainage survey to facilitate the clients surveyors’ and designers’ works.

Tower Demolition completed the project on time and in budget.
